Let’s bake a sticky toffee cake! Festive fun with Ladybird and friends

Episode3ExpandedRectangle

In the third and final episode of the Ladybird Christmas podcast, Great British Bake Off Chef Miranda Gore Browne makes a Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake. The recipe is taken from Miranda’s bestselling cookbook ‘Bake Me a Cake as Fast as You Can’ and contains lots of Christmassy ingredients. It makes a delicious alternative to a Christmas Pudding and little ones will love to help make this and will be especially keen to taste the finished product!

Also in this podcast, you can also enjoy Christmas memories from BBC Radio presenter and dad Simon Mayo and cooking tips from special celebrity guest Jo Whiley.

And finally, once you’ve put the finishing touches to your cake, you can relax with the little ones for storytime –  the classic fairytale The Gingerbread Man.
